The Hellenic Copyright Organization on occasion of the celebration of the World Intellectual Property Day (IP Day) participated in a web conference with the title “Distance education and School Reality”. The web conference is organized by the Regional Educational Planning Centre of Western Greece (PEKES) in cooperation with 17 PEKES from the rest of the country.
The web conference aims to provide a step for an academic – educational dialogue and presentation of scientific data, theoretical studies and teaching practices for the most effective application of distance education in emergency conditions.
In its continuous effort to assist the educational community in its work, the HCO participates in the web conference with an intervention titled “Copyright and Distance Education” presented by the HCO Director Ms. Evangelia Vagena and HCO Jurist, Ms. Krystallenia Kolotourou (26.04.2020, unit 4 , 19:00).
The HCO participation is in the framework of the implementation of the EU funded programme titled “Educating youngsters and secondary school teachers about copyright in Greece and Cyprus”. The programme is transnational and is funded by the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).
