In 2025, the Hellenic Copyright Organization (HCO) strengthened its role as an institutional pillar for the protection of copyright in Greece.

Through the supervision of Collective Management Organizations, legislative interventions, the fight against piracy, participation in national and international conferences, providing electronic time-stamping for creators’ works, and collaborating with public and private entities, HCO has promoted transparency, sustainability, and innovation in the field of copyright.
At the same time, through educational programs, seminars, online activities, and memoranda of cooperation with universities (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, University of Patras, Panteion University) and research bodies, HCO has enhanced knowledge of copyright and promoted scientific research.
