As part of the awareness and educational activities of copyrightschool.gr, the HCO carried out two visits to schools in Monemvasia:
- Thursday 17.09.2026 – Monemvasia General Senior High School (Lykeion): The visit took place following an invitation by the school Principal, Ms. Maria Kountouri. The seminar was attended by 70 students.
- Friday 18.09.2026 – Monemvasia Junior High School: The visit took place following an invitation by the school Principal, Mr. Dimitris Tountas. The seminar was attended by 80 students.
The presentations were delivered by Ms. Maria G. Sinanidou, Int. IP LL.M., Lawyer, Scientific Associate at HCO and Certified Mediator.
The seminar, titled “Basic Principles of Copyright and legal sources online” focused on contemporary copyright topics, including the protection and commercial exploitation of creativity, the responsible use of digital content, rights and obligations in the digital environment, as well as the new challenges arising from the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
During the sessions, students raised questions regarding the challenges of AI and copyright in content creation, as well as the rules governing the protection and use of material on YouTube.
