On Monday, June 22, 2020, the Intellectual Property Organization participated in a remote training seminar, organized by the Directorates of Primary and Secondary Education of Athens II through the Environmental Education Officers and the Directorate of Secondary Education of Cyclades through the School Activities Officer.
At the event, the teachers were informed by Ms. Eva Moustakas, OPI Legal, about intellectual property issues as well as the importance of the work of creators and related rights holders. Particular emphasis was given to the relationship between intellectual property and distance education and the expanded use of digital material from the internet. In addition, online sources of legal materials for use in the classroom were presented. A total of 47 teachers attended the seminar.
