This year’s theme is “When women enter the universe of intellectual property (IP), we accelerate innovation and creativity and everyone’s a winner”.
The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) is asking for a 90-second video showing why it is important for girls and women to turn to intellectual property and how it can benefit us all.
The video can showcase the creativity and innovation of women inventors, creators and entrepreneurs, highlighting how intellectual property rights can enable women to have an even greater impact on society and the economy, as well as the collective benefits of involving more women in the innovation and intellectual property ecosystems.
The deadline for submissions is 19 March 2023 at 23.59 (CET). The 10 best videos will be submitted to a public, online vote to select the top three winners, who will be announced on World Intellectual Property Day on 26 April 2023.
The winners will win digital equipment worth several thousand euros.
