A RESPECT debate was held on 10 June on the theme “Online piracy: responsibility and response. Benefits for the creator and the user”. The debate was organized by the Hellenic Copyright Organization (HCO) and ELSA Athens in the framework of the RESPECT programme of the European Union.
RESPECT wants to raise awareness among young people about the harm caused by online piracy, reduce the downloading of digital content from illegal sources and encourage the use of legal alternatives. The debate was filmed in Cosmote TV studios.
